98LS problems with my new brakes and rotors ...
I had changed my brakes and rotors about 5 months ago , I am pretty sure that my mechanic had went with some auto zone red boxed looking brake/rotors brand name , not the ceramic kind , my initial reason for changing the brake/rotors was cause the car used to vibrate heavily ... now the car is doing the same thing again , back then once I changed them he also had checked my inner and outer ride and said everything looked good , he said he rotors I had on the vehicle were bent , ok so we changed them ... Did my car bend those new rotors again? Or what's the reason behind the shake ? It only shakes once I apply the brakes ... Please help ..

Shaking when you apply the brakes, or pulsating, or pushing back on the pedal when you apply the brakes... is due to warped rotors... happens when they get too hot. The pads squeeze in, but the warped rotors cause push back on the system and you feel it in the pedal.
Poor replacement parts....or possibly a stuck caliper that is causing the rotor to overheat... might need to rebuild the calipers.
Since you had the problem before...and then again after you replaced the rotors and the pads...then we don't fix the root problem... as the new parts are now behaving just like the old ones...

the proper term is warped the rotors, not bent. this is highly unlikely in your case especially after only 5 months of use.
the typical shake is caused by brake pad material being deposited onto the rotor surface unevenly. this is usually caused by cheap brake pads, and a failure to break in the pads properly. because of these deposits, the rotor thickness changes at different spots (unevenly) and is then deemed "warped".

another problem that could not be brake-related are your front bushings, but they usually give vibrations during a drive and not necessarily under braking.

Usually a mechanic will put on parts that the customer wants. Not the mechanics fault if the customer wants to "cheap out."
The vibration under braking isn't always brake related. It could just be badly balanced tires or even just over inflated tires. I dont think the rotors would "warp" after only 5 months, no matter how cheap they are. But check those bushings also.
