E-Cutout Exhaust on IS250
Hey guys, I just wanted to know exactly which electric cutout to use for a 08 IS250 and if anyone can recommend a shop in the Los Angeles area? I've called 3 shops and none knew what I was talking about when referring to cutouts. Any help is appreciated.

I got one installed right before the resonator on my Invidia midpipe. I wired the switch into an empty button slot near the steering wheel. It gets ridiculously loud when full throttle or cold starts. I keep mind closed most of the time but open it up every now and then.

Most shops wont have them on hand so i can understand them not knowing what your talking about. You would have to buy one the appropriate size of your diameter exhaust, bring it to a shop to weld it in. Some may not do the wiring too so you have to plan ahead if they weld it and force you to wire it your self

Would the proper e-cutout be a low profile 2.25" or 2.5" for an '08 is250?
obviously just doing this for noise when I feel like being mischevious haha

One of my friends had this done on his Audi s4 by a shop in San Francisco. I believe his cut out was right before the mufflers. He rarely opens it up because the sound is pretty loud haha. Cool mod though.

I got the 2.75 stainless steel option.
The wiring is pretty basic, you just have to wire it so it doesn't touch any part of the exhaust or headers when you are bringing the cable through the firewall. Then you would use a fuse circuit tap inside an existing fuse slot and tap the power from there under the steering wheel.
