I ordered a front and rear set of struts for my GS, but got a phone call from the mechanic saying that the struts are not loaded. I know im gonna sound like an idiot for asking this, but which part should i order? Mechanic called the parts supplier and they said that they dont make laoded struts for the GS?? Sorry for a noob question, but I just need to know hat I am buying. Thanks in advance!

 

I would assume "loaded" means it's assembled with the spring on.

He's going to have to do the work, compress the spring, remove the strut, put new strut in, load the springs, and bolt up.

Mechanic SHOULD know how to do that, it's the basic.
