Default Lowering spring installation $$$$

So I've been calling around getting prices on installation. I've been getting some outrageous quotes, some places saying they need to remove the back seat.
I'm wondering if our cars are more difficult due to the adjustable suspension or are people just not familiar since our cars are still new?
What has everyone been paying? Is there anything a newb could screw up on that I should worry about?

It's pretty simple to change out the adaptive suspension just sit on the front shocks the rear depending on which model you have I have the 350 fsport they are separate all I had to do was drop the control arm and the spring come right off the front is a lil more work best quote I got to change out the spring was 300 and I decide to do it on my own if your planning to do full coil over I wouldn't know too much but for sure the seat don't need to come off mostly likely the panel in the trunk have to be remove to access the bolts to hold the shock hope this help out

Thanks for the response. 300 definitely sounds reasonably, better than 700+.

I'm lowered on rsr super down which I love the stance of how it sit . Best way to save money is to lower it yourself if you have experience on working on car it's fairly simple couple bolt here and there but the shop I got quote for 300 is a shop in California by LA. Best I got from a local shop that work only on Lexus not the dealership was 500. So it can be very expensive that's why I decided to work on it myself. Due to the fact it's a new car they never work on it so they need time to take everything apart to figure how the new model work.

I'm a mechanic and I just recently installed rsr super downs on my IS. Rear seats don't need to come out. I'm in the inland empire. PM me if you have any questions or need a reasonable quote.

Locally in Toronto I'm getting quoted $240-$300 install. Going to order my RSR Downs tomorrow and will update this thread with the install pricing.

$350-$450 W/ Alignment sounds reasonable for a reputable shop to perform this job on the IS. Front isn't too bad. Rear is a little more work but nothing crazy either, Also rear seats do not need to come off at all. At least for Lowering Springs. Good Luck
