I found this spring this morning on the floor. I tried to see where the the spring might go. I assume it connects to one of the pedals, but I can't see where it goes. The pedals don't feel any different now than before the spring got disconnected. I have to remove the panel to get a better look but it's too dark now.

 

probably from underneath the drivers seat somewhere?
