Question Megan Racing LP Vs. Tein CS Coilvers

I'm a newbie when it comes to lowering cars & suspension. So forgive me if I say something wrong. That being said, after looking at some threads. I narrowed it down to these two brands. Which one is best for my IS350 without sacrificing comfort? What are the comparisons/differences? I will be getting some new wheels soon & would like to compliment them with new coils.

If your in SoCal, you can buy my LP. Check classifieds.
I think they are a little more easy to find.

Not really sure if there's a bug difference in quality, but I have friends that mentioned their Tiens were pretty soft when they went low.

Go for the Megan LP's. My car is slammed and my passengers always say how my car rides like stock. But then, I have never tried out Tein coilovers, so I don't know how the two compare. A good amount of members run Megan coilovers on this forum.

Edit: Tein CS coilovers only have 16 way damper adjustment and Megan LP has 32 way damper adjustment for how soft or stiff you would like to go. The more adjustable, the better

comfort wise, I think Teins are closer to stock comapre to Megans (when both on softest setting)
But I believe Megans drop significantly lower than Teins

besides price and damper adjustment mentioned above, when it comes to what is "best" for your car is all personal preference.

Depending on how you want/like your ride to be, there are also other options such as megan ez coils / BCs are also popular / and of course lowering springs.

I can only comment on what I had and its the Megan LP's. I was the lowest on 20" wheels with the LP's and it rode perfect. One must always remember that when lowering you're always going to change the dynamics of the suspension and it won't ride the same.

Thanks everyone for your feedback! Really appreciate it. I decided to buy the Megan Racing LP coils off Racing Lab. Great customer service. Problem is I'm on the wait list for 2 weeks since Megans are very popular & out of stock. Just waiting for the new shipment. They also gave me an option since its 2 weeks of waiting before shipment. They offered D2 Racing Coils, a more expensive brand. Never heard of them. Which one is better? Megans or D2 Racing? Here are the links for the two products.

What are everyone pre settiings on there coils, especially megans? I want to drop my car an inch or two, just low enough so there is no gap between the fender & my wheels.

Very true. That's what I'm afraid of & also excited about. I want my car to feel like it can handle anything the road gives it. Except potholes, curves, objects on the road etc..
What else did you ad to your car after the Megan Coils? Is stock suspension with the addition of new coils ok? I'm very new to this

It's all personal preference. Once you're done installing your coils, don't put your trunk and engine covers back yet and just play around with the damper adjustments and drive around. When I first installed my Megan's, I had the front at 18 from stiff and the rear at 20 from stiff and it rode very smooth. Now I'm at 8 front and 10 rear due to my ride height and it's very firm. 0 is the stiffest and 32 is the softest.

How low can you go on Megan coils, inches wise? Just wondering
