10k or so miles and still rocking out......

People get too butt hurt about e-bay. And to the person who said "you own a lexus now" when will you be able to tell the difference between ebay, and oem? Or even see the UCA's.....

If it works, it works, and saves the owner money in the long run. Even more so if something worse than UCA's go bad.....IE engine failure.....

edit: I have 303k miles on my GS300 btw.....

Agreed and if you check the brand you should be good.. I mean plenty of companies use eBay for lots of product pushing, it works. Just because its listed on eBay doesn't mean it's garb..

I always just double check the company selling it and their product reviews and also the brand of the product they're selling.

You get what you pay for......there is a reason why those UCA's are priced dirt cheap.

So if I get as many miles as OEM, your theory states that Ebay=OEM quality? GOOD!
Cause I have 90k more miles to go......
But I hope by then i will have my dream set up of full Ikeya Forumla.....D2 bag coilovers, TRD sways, Tom's 6 point and Tom's sub frame braces.....^___^

Also, replaced an O2 sensor with an ebay one.....35 dollars shipped. Thank god my VSC lights are off now

So far, I am happy as hell with ebay

I got quoted $204 but did it myself also. Wow $390? Was this a dealer lol.

Seriously though it wasn't that bad. doing the ball joints seemed harder IMO

I noticed you can buy bushes on Ebay for the upper control arm. Has anyone done this procedure? Cuts replacement cost in half.

If we can now buy bushes for the upper control arm it make these cars "green"! and the location of the upper control arm where these bushes go (grow?) makes for easy self-watering too, albeit withstanding harsh conditions. I haven't done this procedure but I am seriously considering it given the potential benefits. Forget cutting replacement costs in half, we're talking about less pollution as these bushes clean the air, more oxygen for the environment from these bushes, someone could even come up with a way to tame the clean, fresh oxygen from these bushes growing in our suspension and direct that straight in to the combustion chamber next door, could yield an extra horse power or two! And our cars can possibly qualify for tax incentives, forget the hybrids!

WAIT A MINUTE (in my Homer Simpson voice)...., was this supposed to be "bushings" instead of "bushes"? Darn it, thought I had something this coming tax season because my car would be "green"!
