Default Ebay Upper Control Arm?

This is a question for all the first gen LS drivers. Since or car is over a decade and a half old there will come a time when you have to replace your upper control arm (for those who haven't done so already) Well, the dealer price for this item is about $400/$500 each. The only alternative that i came across so far is Ebay which carry them for about $200 pair. Have you/did you/would you trust purchasing the upper control arm from Ebay?

Here is the link to an EBay seller that have them

You can get rear Lexus/OEM UCA's online for around $118 each at parts.com...

Sewell and Carson probably have them for slightly more. Need to watch out on the true savings on parts.com though. They tend to add handling charges to their orders at checkout, so the reality is that Sewell and Carson are closer in price to them than it may appear on the surface. Plus, their phone support is non-existent. Sewell and Carson are known entities and easy to contact.

it still adds up, when you get a rear upper control arm and rear lower control arm, for both sides. ridiculous!

For the rear lowers, I might consider just using the Adus poly bushings. I haven't seen the same complaints about ride quality when using the poly's in the back like people have in the front. The upper is ball joint and all, so aftermarket isn't an option as you know.
