Air bags have switches. Coilovers have to be adjust manually. You get cup kits for coilovers, which essentially is air bags. With coilovers you can adjust to your preferred height and adjust dampening whether soft or hard to your liking. I have BC Racing coilovers after having H&R springs and never look backed. Less bouncy, jarring. Nice and firm in my opinion.
Coilovers - can u adjust height with automatic switch???
like your automatic windows switch...
i just watched YouTube videos and they were removing the tires and adjusting the height with a wrench by twisting and turning...
so with coilovers, is there a switch or do u have to manually remove all 4 tires and adjust with a wrench...
i might just go with lowering springs...seems like too much work with coilovers...

509IS350 is correct.
OP: coils are superior to spring, and you should only have to adjust them once (unless you get bigger wheels and want to drop your car more)
so the lowering springs can not be adjusted at installation?
and with coilovers, i can just tell the installer how low i want it?
so what is the lowest height to set without scraping?
will it scrape going over speed bumps and entering and exiting driveways?
thanks for your help
No. Springs drop your car x amount of inches and thats the ride height that your stuck with, same goes with ride quality. With coils, both are adjustable.
And I cant answer that question for you. A lot of factors come into play here. Depends if your car is RWD or AWD, what size wheels, what offset, etc
