-Just wondering how many other GS owners have had broken front sway bar brackets? Mine was replaced under warranty a few months ago....it's an odd thing to break for a 2 year old car!

how did you know the brackets were broken?

-I went to the dealer complaining of an "abnormal noise" as stated in the provided TSB (thanx Ethan), and upon inspection...both brackets were loose and one was completely cracked in 2 and the other was almost cracked all the way.

whoa, i think this is what is wrong with my car. except mine does it in the rear too.

what abnormal noises you guys all have? my car squeaks over bumps and such, which is what i recall mrgs400 saying was the symptom

This TSIB definitely applies to my car. Now i know why there is a noise coming from the suspension. Ill take the car to the dealer after the holidays to fix it.

ain't that the truth...

mine sounds like metal on metal rattling and clanging. it gets really wicked on bumpy roads. sometimes it does it if im going slow and just hit the brakes or turn and it loads that side of the suspension. mine is a 98, so i dont think the TSB includes it.

i havent checked yet, but i hope mine are just loose. i boycotted the local lex dealer a long time ago. if i do need to replace them does anyone know the part numbers? i could probably order it from toyota and install myself. hope someone can help. i will post as soon as i find out whats goin on.
