new ls400 brake caliper from autopart store everything i need in box?
hey guys i have a quick question i work at autozone and i get an employs discount i have been debating on buying the ls400 calipers there new so what i was wondering what should all come in the box that i need for the swap such as bolts since its a new part and yes i do know that it requires the rca's, rotors, pads any answers will be appreciated thanks
Not sure, that mushy feel is a toyota thing and LS is still Toyota
if you gonna swap them, might as well get some good brake pads, and even consider new brake lines + brake fluid.
don't think the new brake calipers will come with all the brake hardware (pins and springs) that hold the brake pads to the caliper. so you may consider getting those as well
you already know about the RCAs,
- they use the same brake bolts
- you need new rotors, the ls400 rotors to be exact
- new hardware, brake springs, long brake pad bolts, locking pins
- brake fluid, consider dot3 high temp or even dot 4.
- bigger rotors mean trimming or pushing back the backing dust pan.
- new crush washers for the banjo brake line fitting.

I got my LS calipers from autozone. It came complete except for pads which was good since autozone brake pads suck lol. Made a BIG difference with stopping. I don't race my car but it's nice to know that I can stop the car better with upgraded brakes
