Futher up Jeff said he had no wear issues, so this is all performance related.

Most wear can be mitigated with proper tire pressure and toe settings. That said, if you routinely brake hard, the RC bushings should help minimize tire scrub from toe changes.

Thanks for that. Yes, I brake pretty hard.

I've noticed that my front brakes seem to pretty weak recently. Thinking that the Raybestos Element3 pads had worn out, I had the shop check my brake pads, but they were fine. I'm guessing that the reason has to do with the absolutely decimated front tire and it's shredded contact patch (aka the inner shoulder).

I run the fronts at 35 PSI but I will take your advice and try running them higher. I believe one of your posts said 38 or something.

I will probably get the RC-F bushings anyway just to make the car a little bit more engaging to drive.

Im sorry to bring this thread back to life. I recently imported an 06 IS250 AWD. I need to replace the LCA bushing(Bracket) to have it safetied.

Can someone confirm if the RWD and AWD share the same LCA bushing/bracket? Pretty much what was posted above(photo below).

Yes, RWD and AWD use the same bracket/bushing.

Recently discovered this bushing upgrade that 2IS owners like to do. So after watching a few how-to guides, my question is which is the best way to " load " the suspension so one can torque the nut on the bushing? Assuming I'll be working with a floor jack/ jack stands. Some say lower that wheel onto ramps, some say to jack the wheel up ? Which is the best and safest way? TIA
