Hey guys I am looking to buy a set of coils off a Guy that Bought them for his customer off an auction I think he said a yahoo auction anyways customer never came through with cash so I'm thinking about picking them up for the right price but thing is he doesn't know what brand it could be although its black and red, a friend of mine pointed out that Megan and Godspeed came out in that color too and when I ask the dude for more details he said they have a sticker/badge with Japanese discription on them so now I'm stuck so I turn to someone that might know all the jdm coils that might have came in that color anyways I'm at work right now ill post up pics he sent me tonight

 

Mang just stick to what you know. Everytime you go off buying some cheap **** and something happens. There's a bunch of coilovers for sale in the classified section. Megan LPs are going for $600ish and vendors are selling them hella cheap. Just my 2 cents cause I know what you been through hahaha

 

Don't buy used coilovers... unless you can verify the history... always a recipe for diaster.

Just buy the Zeal's in classifieds. It's 1k OBO.

lol yes just stay away. its always better to just say your money and get some quality parts that you can feel confident in.

 

Zeals or not.. those coilovers have quite the mileage on them. I'm sure they're fine.. but for how long? Suspension takes all the abuse on a car... especially with ****ty roads.

 

Where he's at the roads are decent, not to bad. 25k is a lot of miles, I agree, but they are OBO so he can always try a bit lower than what he's asking.
