strange steering wheel..
Today,, I installed four new Pilot sports A/S....
same wheel and just new tires..
but after I installed in Costco... car pulls to right...
it was ok untill right before the change...
it is not vibrating or making noise...but pulls to right...
when I let off the steering...it turns to right...
I already checked tire pressure....all same...
Should I go dealer and do allignment? this is 2003 under warranty.

they did make adjustment on wheel
When I pick up the car, steering was little left so they adjusted to little right,,, I think that is why. maybe...
I think it will be covered since I didn't do any mod...
it is just tires... and I not saying balancing......
so.. I have to call dealer on mon.

It's the tires. The pulls happened after you change the tires. You can cross 2 front tires and I bet it will pulls to the opposite direction.

that happened with the Kumos when I tried them for the front wheels, my alignment was all in specs. The alignment guy said that it's the directional problem in the wheel. Discount tire replaced the tires for me to Nittos, and that took care of the problem.

I think you should go to the dealer and do the alignment. My car is 2002 and I had the same problem u have, I got the alignment and the car no longer went to the right.
I think the alignment problem affects many GS cars for some reason. I suggest you do the alignment evey 5,000 miles. My car has almost 10,000 now and the steering is off to the right again. So Im taking it to the dealer again very soon.
Why did you change tires if ur car is 2003?

Lexuses are notoriously hard to align, don't know why. I've only had two places get the alignment on my father's LS right, my mechanic, and the Lexus dealer. Everyone else always messes it up, which is probably what Costco did. I'd have the Lexus dealer align it (4 wheel) they will charge you, go ahead and pay it. Its worth it to get the car aligned properly.
If Lexus can't align it because of a bad tire, then head back to Costco.

THanks...
I will do the allignment....and I think it will be fine...
maybe it is just adjusting steering wheel.....
I want to test the car with no wind....
Today we had 50 mile gust winds....
for sure though,,, it is not straigt when I drive straight...

I think if those Pilot Sport A/S are unidirectional tires, then both front tires better have been mounted in the correct direction or the trend pattern on both tires won't be symmetrical and cause the car to pull in one direction.
On my previous 1999 Lexus GS, I made the mistrake of having one Michelin and one Pirelli on the front wheels and it caused the car to pull really bad in one direction because the tread patterns were different. Once I put two Michelins on the front, it was fine.
But like everyone else said, the alignment is most likely the culprit.

patterns are same and those are brand new tires...
I am going dealer tommorow...
I checked it just now,,, I went to see 007 ^^
it pulls to right....way too much...I think tires can cause little bit.
but not that much....it's turing right...and it is interesting that steering is just little left when I want to straight....so...
I think it's alignment....I changed tire location and it does same thing....pulls right....maybe the old tire was less sensitive...or something...I will post results after alignment...
