Default SPC Camber Kit Install

Just got my SPC rear camber kit in the mail and was wondering if anyone knew if there was a write up with pictures on how exactly to install the kit. Ive looked for a while now and have not really found anything. The kit does come with directions but it would be alot of help if I had some pictures to go with the directions that are provided.

Remove the factory camber bolt, place the SPC machined plate on the stock arm and place it so that it sits flush fits tightly inbetween the small protrusions in the arm.

Then take a marker and mark the inside hole of the machined plate so that you can see it on the stock arm then just wollow the hole out to that length and reinstall everything with the new eccentric bolt and the SPC plates.

Its a pretty self explanatory install once you get the car in the air and look at it.

So I had a shop try and do this install and had no luck. They showed me how the exhaust was in the way of elongating the camber arm holes and that they would have to cut the exhaust to do the job. Price went from $75 to $375. Am I missing something?

Unless the exhaust runs right next to the rear tires they are very confused. Look at this pic posted by SorrGwa. #3 on theinstructions states Remove lower control arms by first removing existing camber adjustingbolts from the outer end of the arms.

This bolt and cam kit is ideal for bringing lowered Lexus GS's camber back into spec. The kit offsets the OE's 1.5 deg. camber cane with an additional 1 deg. positive camber. Rear Adjustment range: Additional Camber +1.00 degree

I installed mine not too long ago. No issue with the exhaust at all. You would need to do some cutting though. Shaving I should say instead of cutting. The groove on the camber kit needs to have more room to move on the stock arm. So you would have to use some sort of tool, i used a air drill. shave some of the camber bolt hole to make it a tad bit longer. Just shave little by little and compare the arm and the kit to see how much you would have to shave.
