Default Spring recommendations??

I was wondering if you guys can give me some input on what kind of springs are best. Im looking for something that will still give me a smooth ride but with a nice drop. For now Im just gonna lower my car on my stock 18's. I plan for 19's in the future. As far as height wise Im not sure of what would be best. Is a 1.4 drop front and 1 in the rear too much? Thanks

Nice so no rubbing or anything whatsoever huh? I mean I'm gonna run my stock 18's for now but yeah i plan to upgrade to 19's in the future. Also hows the ride with the HR springs? Still got that "Lexus" ride?

Nope

And yea, the ride is great. Its firmer, A lot less floaty, and overall I'd say it's better then the stock ride.

Nice. Im def gonna check those out. I see they are running about $300 on ebay. Have you heard anything about the Megan Racing springs? I see they give you a 2" drop all the way around i believe. Is that too much on stock wheels? Price is really cheap on them too but I bet the ride won't be as good. Do you think my car would look good with the HR springs lowered on stocks? Lol sorry for all the questions. Noob just trying to get some insight on the car world.

I have H&R Sport Springs on my IS as well and I like them. They go noticeably lower than F-Sport aftermarket springs and still good for regular driving IMO. Ride is stiffer though but I can live with it. I also have 18" stock wheels and the car looks a LOT better. Here's a couple of photos of mine: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/6426752-post56.html.

You might be able to find more pictures of ISes on various lowering springs in the Suspension sub-forum. Regarding 2", there are also Road Magnet lowering springs that lower the car 2".

Yeah I would maybe like to go 2' but I don't know how that would look on stock wheels. So far I'm leaning towards the road magnets you guys are talking about. But I want to wait and see if I can possibly find a picture to get an idea of what it would look like dropped 2".

Just know that the road magnets are pretty low... It'll affect ride quality.

Read every review on H&R - all say the ride is awesome. You can't say that for road magnets.

wish the springs would lower the front more and leave the rear little higher for that aggressive lean but i guess only coilovers can do that :/
