i want a nice medium drop! not a 2"inch drop in the front! as it is now if i do that on 18's ill be slammed i can imagine on 20's. i want to keep atleast some of my ride comfort! i had heard that the eibachs are good! now please keep in mind im not trying to spend an arm and a leg on these so these are my only options for now! please lmk what you guys use and if any of you have useds eibachs before! thank you!
I am currently running with the Eibachs and love them! Really nice drop and I didn't notice any real change with ride comfort... I can't really speak for any of the other spring manufacturers, but I chose Eibach as they have been around for quite some time and I have never had any bad experiences... I would highly recommend!
If you are interested in seeing how the springs look dropped, check out some of my other posts and there will be some pics.

aww man. all i saw was a teaser thread?! lol. wheels do look nice though! i went with a 3 pc wheel since those wheels are going to go to the grave with me!(2 months working on votes and stuff) i need it to go good on my future car (hopefully ) a supra! i cant see any pics of the drop though please post a link if you may! and what did you use to spray the calipers?? i actually spoke to the guys over at cor and they said they can powder coat my calipers! i dont know how much though!
i love the look of a slammed car but i dont want it too slammed! how much does the tanabe drop it? i was looking for a medium drop. so that i can get it aligned after seeing the price on the actual tires! id like to preserve them as much as possible!

You can check the website for exact #s but DF is about 2 inches and NF is about 1 inch.
I have DF and with 265/30/20 in the rear it tucks just a bit and the front is "no finger gap" on 225/35/20.
these are the sizes im going to be running. i want to maintain as much of the stock ride as possible after a drop. i want to be able to get a ood alignment. 285/25/20 rear and 255/30/20 fronts
Here you go... I believe this dropped me right around 1.5 - 1.75", but IMO, its the perfect amount of wheel gap. I am in the boat... I really like the slammed look, but it would have to be bagged or something to go that low for me. This is as low as I would want to go sitting on just springs...
Here is another one... Excuse the filthyness. I took a pic while in Colorado as this is by far the dirtiest my car has ever been!
I just installed Tein S tech and it gave me a perfect drop with no difference in ride comfort. Waiting on my 20's to see exactly how much finger gap I'll have, as of now on stock 17's I have 2 finger gap all around but love the look and ride.
It all really comes down to personal preference. I don't really think you can go wrong with any choice as long as you pick the spring witht he drop you want.... I was just much more familiar with Eibach so I stuck with them.... I think you will be happy with any of the choices you make.... However, if you choose to go with Tanabe, for instance, they have different series that give different drops so pay attention to your desired drop...
Yes you will be with in factory specs with the DF springs
Its a 2" drop and sits "perfectly" flush with aftermarket rims. I think on the 3rd or 4th page of the wheel thread you can see my car sitting on these springs before I made the move to coils.
Its all preference. The ride was better them factory and "looked" perfect IMO. Also know the lower you go the easier it will be to fit wider tires and rims with lower offsets with out having to modify if your worried about that.
I had no wear issues with my tires, both summer and winter.
