Let's see...

1) Passenger-side grab-handle on the inside was falling off - replacement.

2) Moonroof cover opens ~1/2 inch and rattles - ongoing problem (stiffer suspension doesn't help, obviously).

3) Glovebox rattle - dealer fixed (more or less) with some felt.

4) Front sway bar bolts came loose during a "spirited" drive through a curvy mountain road - dealer re-tighten and put some lock tite on the bolts. I later replaced the bars and re-tightened anyway.

5) Squeaking/rattling noise from the plastic cover for the ignition module - amazingly went away (reportedly, by itself) after I complained and reproduced a problem at the dealer!!!

6) Driver's seat (back) squeaks when turning the car to the right - must be all the right-turn cornering that I do... Will point it out during my next maintenance visit.

No problems at all. Bought it from a private party, almost a year now. Just gas it up and go, just as the way it should be. Got new tires (BFG g-Force KDWS) to replace the stock Bridgestone, that's it.

Default No problems

2002 GS300 Sport Edition:
I've had this car for just about a year now with no problems whatsoever. Hopefully, knock on wood, this lasts for a long, long time.

Have a 2001 with 45K miles. The TRD sways loosen on occasion, but I always have the dealer tighten those when I get service. I have no rattles or other problems. Nothing... Perfect car.

Yes, every month I spend about $598.96 on it but the dealer said that will stop when I make the last payment

Default 2001 GS 300

Had my car for 3 years,

Didn't have the sway bar problem because I replaced the stock ones with TRD less than 5000 miles.
I did have to take the car in as the driver rear side shock was leaking, discovered it when I was replaceing the sway bars.

My tags are due and are more then the car payment, but I live in cali so do something Arnold.

Just had the dealer replace my battery, I don't drive the car all the time.

Sunroof no problem but its open every time I'm driving.

MAJOR PROBLEM: Let my wife drive it because I needed her RX to move some stuff and now I can't get her out of it.

Most of my problems with the GS are like VVTI's but they are not covered under factory warranty

Because its a 300 and not a 430 it seems to be missing some horsepower

Oh....i forgot.

I had a problem with the driver seat. When I took turns or when getting in and out of the car....it made a thumping sound.....something was loose. I took it apart and found a little nut behind the seat adjustment buttons popped out.

It was a SOB to take apart....but I finally got tightened.

Annoying wheel vibration at around 60-65 mph. It does not happen when going slower or faster. I've seen some previous posts that this may be a common problem. Especially on 98-2000 models. Other than that no probs
