Lexus/F-Sport does not specify that the springs must be installed with the shocks. If they did I could see them denying coverage, but they don't. They list them as a separate option and the instructions also do not state it. I can't see Lexus denying it, but I've been surprised by what I've heard Lexus USA do with regards to warranty in the past.

Is the f sport shock recommended? I'm thinking of getting the f sport springs.

They're supposed to be coupled with the F-sport springs, but it's not necessary. I'm still using my stock OEM shocks with the F-sport springs and the rides great.
