Rca help???

Rca help???
i went to shop and had the rca's SAGE 40mm put on... when he went to align it he said he couldnt get it to align right because the adjustment on the lower control arm was froze..... he said they would need to replace the lower control arms for 1300... is there a way around it??? thanks

Go to a different alingment shop. The LCA is adjusted with a cam with a bolt running through it. Unless there was some type of damage I don't see how it could be frozen enough to warrent replacement (it may be "stuck" but a breaker bar and/or torch should be able to break it free).

OK, the rubber turning would mean to me that it is either damaged or severely deteriorated. If that is the case then the car would not hold a proper alignment. $1300 is high to me to replace them. It is less than $200 for each and then remove sway bar end links and three bolts and you have it out. Took me less than an hour to change both of mine but I do not know what the shop rate is for changing them.
