I have a question guys.I recently bought ISF calipers from Emicelee to upgrade my stock IS250 brakes.I had them painted gold and i m ready to buy the rotors. Thank you Lexusis305 for your help but every time i m ready to order ISF rotors someone tells me that it is required to use ISF front hubs too and i don't know what to do because i can make custom rotors in that price.I cant understand why hubs are required for the swap? Can someone please confirm that lexusis305 is right so that i ll order ISF rotors and finish my mod? I wouldn't know what to do with them if they want fit because there is know one here in Greece that i could sell them to so please help!

I can't answer you about the hubs but I do believe lexusis305 is a master tech at Lexus so he might be right.

Hi PAVGR : I can't tell you why you need the front IS-F hubs but you do need them to fit the rotors. I have IS-F brakes on my IS250 and is using the hubs.

Please refer to this thread for more info. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...bk-thread.html

As you can see there are several opinions. What would you do if you were me?I really want to believe Lexusis305 and order the ISF rotors and get done with it because it is the cheapest thing to do but...Where are you Lexusis305?I did a rehearsal as you told and the calipers clear my 19is.Do the ISF hubs needed?

The IS F hubs are 8mm further out. You may not NEED them, but I'd recommend it, if you don't use them, the rotor will be sitting in a different position inside of the caliper (further inwards).

So how can some of you use ISF hubs and some others don't?I understand Jeff that perhaps the rotors sits 8mm in the rear in the caliper without the hubs but i also understand that if Lexusis305 did it without and its working why should i use them?I guess it is up to me then to risk or not to risk buying the rotors.

You may have clearance issues and uneven pad wear if you go without using the ISF hubs. You can always rig 8MM worth of washers between the rotors and hub.

See this post. You will absolutely need the IS-F hubs, or you won't be able to install your rotors (they won't line up with the slot inside the brake pads). I was the one who did all the research and test-fitting to verify IS-F brakes could be installed on an ISx50. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions on this.
