Hey Guys, i replaced my ball joints 4k ago (not OEM), and now i have an annoying noise when i turn the wheel from a standstill. Only a Standstill though. I get no noises over bumps or potholes. Neither do i have the creaking. It just like a constant popping/crackling noise when i turn the wheel to the left side. Its so evident when i parallel park that its annoying. Im paranoid about driving the car. My caster arm bushings where shot when i replaced the ball joints but i just replaced those last week. Highway wonder in gone but the popping/crackling noise from a standstill is driving me nuts! im a college student and i cant drive back to school with my car in the condition like that. Do you think ball joints can fail after 4k or is it something else?

Check the susp section...another member posted a video of his noise at a standstill when turning to the right. Eventually his ball joints failed a few weeks later.
