Default Squeak!!Squeeak!!Squeeeak!!Squeeeeak!!Squeeeeeak!!

I'm not going to rule out the brakes, I'm just making it clear that it happens upon acceleration also. The faster I go the faster the squeaks are. HELP!!

(ps. I would take it to the dealership because my car is CPO, but with aftermarket wheels, suspension, lugs etc.. they will point their fingers straight at those things with out giving it an effort.)

Sounds like brakes, how long has it been since you've serviced anything brake related?

it might be your brake caliper spring mike.. i had this issue on my 2GS after the shop installed my suspension.. it should look something like this

http://www.eurotruck-importers.com/i...4634210091.jpg

it may be called something else.. i just quickly looked it up on google.. not sure if the 2IS has this part but it definitely was the reason for my squeaking on the GS

your rotors are bent. get new rotors and pads and this problem should go away. also check to see if your e-bracke is jammed

Might be the brake pad sensor indicator thingy. When the pads get worn down, the thingy touches the rotor and causes that sound, notifying to you that the pads are getting past a certain measurement and need to be replaced.

Had the same thing happen to me in my Integra (and it was really embarrassing driving it around ). It was the rotors AND brake pads in my case.

its brakes for sure! if your pads are good and rotor dont have a lip around the rotors .what you can do is sand all around the sides of pads to round it .so it dont touch the inner part of the rotor that oway rust and make noise

Thank you guys for all your responses. After doing TONS of research and getting dirty this morning, I have confirmed that it is my brake pads that are almost gone. The noise I am hearing is a sensor put in place to rub very softly on the rotor to alert me that I need to change my pads. In my case it is rotors too.

its brakes. It can happen when your off the brakes as well because your pad still kind of touches the rotors a tiny bit even when your not hitting the brakes.

To the guy who said your rotors are warped, wtf? lol. Maybe they are, maybe they arent but warped rotors don't make a sound, they cause the brake pedal to pulsate when your on the brakes.
