Default Tein EDFC

Exactly what does the Tein EDFC do? Does this come with a kit or sold seperately?

it is sold separately and it works with the flex coilover. it allows you to adjust the damping values right from the cabin instead of jacking up the car and all the hassle. however with this setup you won't be able to put in the stb

The EDFC will fit on the Tein HA and RA models in addition to the new Flex. The RMM STB will also clear the stepper motors. It's only the TRD and others that will not fit the EDFC motors up front.

In the rear, you do have to cut out part of the rear trunk lining ovér the shock towers to clear the motors. You'll have to check which rear STBs will fit.

The EDFC gives you the ability to change the shock damping to accomodate changing road conditions and driving style. If you just want a smooth ride and care less about performance driving, you probably won't need it.

The EDFC control can program 3 settings in it's memory, plus you can tweek the ride manually while you drive.

90% of the time, I plan on driving full soft when cruising and then hit one of the programmed buttons to change to my sport or performance settings whever I see some nice twisty roads ahead or just want to hang a freeway on ramp, etc.

I hear Steve Ganz sells them for around $325. I checked around my local area and no one could match his price.
