Default coilover clanking

hi. a local shop said most coilovers will make a 'clank' sound sometimes when you go over bumps. is this true? and will the Tein Flex do the same? tahnks.

I also have been hearing about this sort of "noise" when you hit big bumps. What exactly is ahppening when you hear this noise??

I've never heard that clank sound and I've been through a few sets of coilovers on my GS alone.

One particular "clank" noise that you MIGHT hear is the infamous loose sway bar mount....sounds like your car might fall apart when it gets bad...

As for the other clunk, it could be if you have the coilovers set lower and the coils hit each other...but I've never heard my Tein's or H&R do that...
