Default Raising GS- Strut question

A few years ago I lowered my GS and it is about time to raise it back up. I plan on purchasing stock springs but am wondering if I can continue to use the same shocks (KYB). Does anyone know if this would be an issue?

Is there a cheaper replacement to the stock shocks? Tired of bottoming out and want the silky ride back.

You can use the KYB shocks. I ran that combo after I sold off my L-tuned springs.

yes you can continue to use your kyb's. they are pretty much the next best thing if youre not buying stock shocks.

mights as well just buy Coil-overs, just in case you feel like you miss the lowered ride (control,center-gravity,braking) you might not betoo fond of the silky "boat like feeling"
megans are pretty cheep and ride good

I have to add that the stock + GR-2 rode horrible for me. In fact, I don't consider the ride quality an improvement over my Ltuned + GR-2. The GR-2's shock valving is clearly made for slightly stiffer springs so if you want that silky smooth ride again, go with OEM shocks.

You can get a set of from Sewell Lexus for $275 plus maybe $15 for shipping. I think I paid $280 shipped for my KYB but that was back then. They go for $330+ nowadays.

how many miles on the same shocks you plan to use?

maybe because your shocks are old and the ride has degraded.

when i 1st lowered my GS on my sportdesign... it was smoothe.. but as time went by... it is just not as smoothe anymore.
