Default Tanabe DF210 or L-tuned springs for stock shocks?

Just wondering if i put any of these on my stock shocks on my 01 GS300 (w. only 26,800 miles), will they greatly reduce the life of the shocks?

also which one is closest to stock ride quality?

thanks

what's up with people wanting stock feel stock suck, it feels like a boat, but if you want close to stock then no DFs. however, lowering the car one inch all around on L-tuned

I put NF210s on my 03 GS430 when it had 19k miles, it now has 35k and the shocks feel like they should be on a 76 Caddy. Just got my Bilstein Sports on Friday - hope to have them in this week.

i wouldnt ride lowering springs on stock shocks, on our GS. it probably reduces the life of the shocks a lot faster and you're going to have to get shocks sooner. so do it right and but the springs and shocks together, unless u decide to get coils. GL!

I am thinking of putting DF210-Tanabe with Bilstein Sport shocks. I just put on my rims-MRR Dessign, GT-1, Hyper Silvers(20X8.5, 24535R20, +35 and 20X10, 27530R20 with a +43). I want to get rid of the large wheel gap in from but I do not want to rub, especially over bumps. What do you guys suggest?
Would these springs be too low? Some guy on ebay is selling Eibach, L-sportline but I do not know the lowering specs.

I'd opt for the DF210's since they go the lowest out of all the ones mentioned

I'm using L-tuned springs with KYB shocks and I like the way it rides. Not aggressively low or rough, just right.

not sure if i remember correctly
is KYB GR-2 = L-tuned shocks?
like ltuned are rebranded or outsourced from KYB?

is this a good price for them?
http://www.usautoparts.net/shop/buy....ke_code=LX&x=1

im confused whether those are the prices for a single shock or a pair
or maybe top 2 are in pairs
and bottom 2 are in singles?
pics look different too, which ones are GR-2?

those prices are per piece x 4 = well over $400. if i recall correctly, you should be able to get all 4 corners kyb's for less than usd400, if not just a hair over. bilsteins are closer to usd500. there are numerous threads that actually cover your question. i'm sure you already know if you use aftermarket springs it will impact your ride. just look for a spring rate closest to stock. also ask yourself how low you want to be, that can help determine which springs to get.
just my 2 cents...got change? GL!

The higher the number, the stiffer the spring.

if you want a conservative drop, get the l-tuned. it lowers about 1" all around. I'm on L-tuned with KYB shocks. The ride is going to be stiffer than stock, but I'm not complaining because I feel the road more. It's not bone jarring or anything. You feel more, and that's about it. But around the turns, it's much much better than OEM springs.

You must be like me because I hate cars that are dropped low to the ground. It's only my preference, which is why I went with L-tuneds.

Just to give my 2 cents....

I had DF210's with stock shocks on my 2000 GS400 (with 50k Miles). It rode ok, but looked awesome. I switched them out with NF210's and KYB-G2 and I LOVE the way my GS feels now. It rides close to stock and handles better than it ever has. It is not to firm or to light! PERFECT! I still have some drop that closed the gap in the front.
