Default H&R with stock shocks. Ride Quality?

I am planning on putting some H&R's on my car with stock shocks. I was wondering if that would be a bad option? I was debating on buying tokico blues to complete the setup but was wondering if I could just use the current shocks.

Thanks
V

The ride is ok with stock stocks. I think with blue tokicos they would be firmer. You should be looking into coilovers if your looking into a springs and shocks combo. You can adjust dampening.

^ Same here. I have H&R Sport Springs with stock shocks and the ride is noticeably stiffer. Car looks a lot better though.

Rides great with stock shocks ... Defiantly firmer than stock, but not harsh (IMO)... I would think the springs would be even stiffer with aftermarket shocks..

You'll be fine on stock shocks. My ride is pretty smooth.

stock shocks are fine, 2is is a sport model to begin with so i'm sure it's better than camrys' struts

anyways, i'm on h&r + stock on 2is awd and is fine
a little bit stiffer but that's the way i want it

personally i think coils are better option than springs+shocks combo........$$ is about same and you get added benefit of height adjustment and dampening

i have the stock is 350 awd with 17 inch rims (i will be replacing soon)

thinking about lowering it on H&R springs but new rims are down the road, thinking about lowering it first.

anyone have pics of these springs on 17 inch rims? just to see if i'll like the look before i get the actual rims

H&Rs were the best springs I had on my car before I went with coilovers - ride quality was excellent. I used these with the standard, "non-sport package" shocks. I think anything stiffer than the standard shocks might get a little uncomfortable for daily driving.

So H&R + Stock Shocks are good for daily driving?

Well this answers my question i came searching for. Im planning to order H&R's this week. Cheapest i have found was $249. Anybody else find them less somewhere else. I may be interested in buying used if right price.
