Default Which Torque Wrench?

Whats the recommended torque wrench? 3/4 or the 1/2? Something basic for the lugs.

As long as it gets the job done you should be able to get the bit sizes you need in either. I got a cheap torque wrench at harbor freight and its fairly accurate. Look for ones that have the torque range that you need and you should be fine.

1/2" is plenty enough for what you're doing.

This is the one I got from Harborfreight, $20. Good price, and it still works. Surprisingly built pretty well.

wow, that's a good price. I bought mine from northern tool for about $50 which was a lot cheaper than lowe's. That place was a ripoff, they wanted like $130!

You get what you pay for with torque wrenches. Cheap tools give you cheap results. All my torque wrenches are SnapOn for a reason. They're far from cheap, but they hold a calibration and they work consistently.

I keep this Craftsman MicroTork 1/2 drive torque wrench connected to a 19mm deep socket in my trunk:

They sell for $79.99 at Sears, but every now and then they'll go on sale for $59.99. They just had one of these sales that ended yesterday...
