Default Quick question on BBK

hey guys,

i know when you buy a BBK you should tell the wheel manufacturer that you have one installed what if i already bought work vs-xx 20x9 for the front with the standard disk face is this okay? will it clear or i'm going to risk the fitment? i'm scared the wheels wont clear the caliper. i don't plan on selling my newly purchased wheels. planning to get 13" size (smallest one to clear the stock 17 wheels and my new 20's wheels). any inputs?

also are the BBK for is250 and 350 different? i have a is300 (dubai/asia version) i don't know which one to get... looking at my brakes i think it's the same size as the is250 one but i'm not sure. can anyone help me?

thanks a lot!

well... if it doesn't fit you could always run a spacer? =\

f-sport is the same as stoptech. its just rebadged. and the f-sport/stoptech bbks fit OEM 18" rims so you should be fine fer sure with those.

are you sure the f sport bbk will clear 17s"

i printed out the templete off of stoptech and it doesnt seem the f sport bbk will clear the oem 18 inch wheels.

They do.

17s are the standard wheel on all 2ISes in the US. 18s are options. (though most seem to come so optioned)

^^huh, i thought the AWD's come in 17's? 18's are all standard for the RWD's no? BBK's wont fit on 17's and i think the f-sport BBK's will only fit with f-sport wheels and aftermarket wheels. Correct me if im wrong. But yeah when you order new wheels make sure you let the shop know about your setup. Spacers will make anything work.

Nope. 17s are standard on any 2IS in the US. 18s optional.

http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/detai...fications.html

Standard wheels on the IS350 or any RWD IS250 are:
17 x 8.0-in 10-spoke alloy wheels with 225/45VR17 all-season tires front, 245/45VR17 all-season tires rear

Standard wheels on the AWD IS250 are:
17 x 8.0-in 10-spoke alloy wheels with 225/45VR17 all-season tires
