Default Which Coils to use!!

Explain your choice... Which Coilover to use... got tein ss right now... can't seem to go lower... it's almost slammed... and it seems that if i lower the front... the rears go higher... a little... and yeah.... justify why... i need why.. and tell me which is better.... don't give other options cos the rest are really out of my reach!!

im just gonna copy and paste what i wrote on the suspension section...

Megan - drops lowwww...price is unbeatable...and if you need the shocks rebuilt, its in the U.S (technically a 40 mile drive for me). So you don't have to ship them to Japan like JIC or Tein (Not so sure for Tein). I heard from some1 that if you need the shocks rebuilt, they will just sell you a new one for cheap..

Besides, the 32 way-adjustment is a plus too...

post a pic with it lowered all the way on the SS...if its low enough then I say dont change. If its not then I say Megan for your budget.

The roads must be 99% better in your state to ride that way. You will need to raise the car when you come to Chicago!!!

I don't really know how low your Teins go
but Megan might do the job for you
you can tuck your front and rear with no problem

megans are on back order. if want the build quality and something made in japan, get the buddy club N+ or racing spec damper. i think the retail for the N+ is similar to megan. they can be dropped 3 inches or more. the thread on the buddyclub coils are around 4.25 inch drop. they can be re-built and revalved. uneven drop on coilovers should not happen unless there is a defect or the installer did a bad job installing them.

Not sure about Tein, but JIC's don't have to be shipped to Japan - they can be rebuilt by JIC right here in Alhambra, CA.

Out of the options you listed, I'd go with the Buddy Club or the D2 coils, if they are similarly priced. Build quality is pretty good on these, and I've heard positive feedback from a few trusted installers.

i figured......... i would add 5mm spacers... increase on the front height... lower the rear... make the rear look good... and i think i'll call it a day.... because..... the front's don't clear 350 brakes.. and i most prolly need 5mm... which makes the front be +30 and i need to take it higher.... and... i'll also do 1 10 mm spacer on the rear... which makes it +30... on a 9.5 and change the tires to 265/35... and therefore..... i don't need to change my coils with it looking FLUSHED =) good idea?
