Default Adjusting Damper - Tein SS

I think my problem to a rough ride have to do with the damper. I just picked up the car and it came with Tein SS. The steering shakes really hard, well the whole car does. The ride is seriously Really rough. Damper controls this right?

I've read the online manual and it seems like it's adjust in clicks (one click = one full turn), so ill play aorund with that later.

Are there any techniques to adjusting damper? Or do i just adjust drive a litle, and readjust?

theres a SOFT>Hard ****.
each click is not one turn. when you actually go do it, its self explanatory.
no need for any advice or techniques. just do it

im not sure about teins. do you have to insert a rod/adjuster tool into the strut to turn it? or is it built in?
if u are turning it correctly, there should be a stopping point. it should stop when it reaches the max

it may seem to turn endlessly if you are turning it to the left. try turning them to the right until it resists turning, then turn the other way as much as 16 clicks to get a softer ride.

The Tein SS allow for 30 or so clicks but the manual says not two exceed 16 clicks starting from the left. Also, you can adjust the dampening by turning the little **** at the very top of the strut. For your steering rack issues, i would try getting Daizen steering rack bushings and new Daizen sway bar bushings might help a little as well.

Yeah i think its not my damper thats a problem, the steering is absolutely ccrazy now, i feel like a heel is loose but they arent...The steering wheel shakes and when im going over 60mph i hear a buumping/smacking sound.

I didnt even do anything but take off my front bumper and i puit it back together. I thought it was the liners but the wheel weel ones are secure and i removed the bottom one.

the damping settings should be as close as possible, but if you find one end of the car slamming harder than the other or difference over the bumps (or corner for that matter) you should adjust accordingly.

Your damping settings will be adjusted by turning all the way to the hardest setting, then up to 16 back in the soft direction.
