Default adjusting tein cs v2 ride height

did a search on this and found numerous conflicting answers. do i turn the gold upper seat clockwise or counter clockwise. turning it counter-clockwise seems to compress the springs and make them shorter. is this what i want? or do i want to lengthen them by turning clockwise.

You want less tension so turn it until you see the spring perch go down. It should be in the same direction as loosening the collar.
