brake rotor life
i have about 144k miles on my gs3 and was just wondering how long rotors typically last.
and does anyone know how thin the rotors are supposed to be before you have to replace them?

Front rotors have a minimum thickness of 30.0mm
Rear rotors have a minimum thickness of 10.5mm
You can turn the rotors as many times as you want, providing its within minimum spec. Some resurfacing requires more cutting while others require less. I've encountered rotors where the pads wore off completely to the point where it backing plate of the pad dug into the rotor. Obviously it was done for

Driving habits greatly affect rotor life. My wife has a 99 Max and I had the front rotors turned twice and then I replaced them at 120K. My daily driver is a 98 TL with 185K with original rotors and I have never needed to turn them. My GS has 90K with original rotors.
