Default Brakemotive Rotors

I'm about to replace my Rotora rotors on the '99GS4. I've been using Brakemotive rotors on my 4Runner (with Hawk Performance SUV pads) with good success, they are better than the stock Toyota rotors by a mile. I'm considering them for the GS.

Anyone been using the Brakemotives (Kinetic) and driving/stopping on them HARD? ANY BRAKE FADE? How are the Powerstop ceramic pads they provide with them? Dust? Any rotor issues?

Would appreciate any further input, thanks....

Default Cryogenic Treatment of Cast Iron Rotors

http://web.vtc.edu/mt/114/Research/F...cTreatment.htm

For you scientific types...

The link above has some great information on the benefits of cryogenically treating cast iron - this is especially applicable to brake rotors.

I've also found info on the difference between G3000 and G3500 Gray Iron, from which rotors are made. It seems to me that despite the claims, the difference is minimal compared to the benefits of cryogenic treatment.

The Brakemotive rotors are not cryogenically treated, but there are others on ebay that are.
