Megan coilovers maxed out at 2 finger gap?
Got my LP coilovers installed today and the installer said the fronts were maxed out, there was a 2 finger gap left with 19's, the rears are fine. He said there was a screw that was keeping him from lowering it more. Has anyone run into this problem? Should i just remove the screw and lower it more? We decided on leaving it not knowing if there are any negative effects.

I'm not sure what screw this is but on my LS my megan's go down further then my frame would ever let me... I don't see why it'd be different with a GS. Try taking your wheel off and seeing for your self. That'd be your best bet. I can be tucking rim with 19's and have around 3 more inches left up front

I have Megan LP's and they installed mine on one rack and tried to move it over to the alinment rack to do final adjustments. They had to raise it three times because the tires were against the inner fender lining. I am right on my tires with 20's and not even halfway down?

thanks guys, i fixed the problem by moving the perch down, i just figured i was able to get the height i wanted by moving the shock bodies instead. The car still rides well even at a low setting.

look at the bottom of the megan racing coilover, there should be a huge locking nut. this isnt the 2 locking nuts that hold the spring in place. this one is on the shock itself, near the base. when u are able to unlock it. you should be able to "screw up and down" the base. this will shorten or lengthen the shock itself. this is megans way of creating a bit of pre load for the coilover. you shorten the shock, but lower the spring so thus u have a pre load on that spring.
ok, dont know if my description helps. haha, but ive done it a couple times before with megan racing coils but on other cars.
