brake fit kit

so i got the lexus front brake fit kit and noticed 4 of the clips have pads on the backside while 4 have adhesive. which goes where? none of my old clips have the pad (which is probably why they click).

not a brake kit, the standard brake fit kit.

never mind, figured it out...should have looked at the clips more closely, they are sufficiently different to figure it out.
