Default Shock replacement question

I want to replace the shocks only on my 98 GS400. Is this a DIY task and if I am only looking for OEM ride, what do you guys suggest as replacements??

Thanks

KYB or OEM shocks are your best bet.

Everything is a DIY task. It just depends how handy you are.
