Default caliper questions!

hi,

im ordering work vs-xx 19x9 and 19x10 for my 00 gs3. im also planning to get aftermarket brake calipers like 15 inch rotors and 6 piston calipers. does anyone have suggestions on which ones to get like endless, brembo, rotora, trd, etc. Also does anyone know how much clearance i am gonna need on my rims so that they will fit w/o spacers. one last thing does anyone one know the clearance on the stock ones?

Thanks

TRD bbk for our cars are relabeled Supra brakes.

Brembo carries a hefty price for their 6-pot combo.

The Rotora and Endless are reasonably priced. Many people here have either one and I highly doubt they dont like it. It's an awesome upgrade.

I can't tell you about the clearance because I do not know much about those wheels. I just know that the stock wheels will not fit anything other than stock brakes.

I would go with the Supra bbk for the price! It's hard to beat those brakes! You can find some used and save a ton of money! I bought my calipers for $50 ea! There not to hard to find. GL

wow nice! $50/caliper is definitely a steal!!

Even though I've put my car back to mostly stock mode, I'm getting bbk for sure. I'm a sucker for stopping power

Also take into consideration that the offset alone will not tell you much. You have to see what kind spoke design you have . The ones that are curved out will give you more clearance than the ones that are flat, even if the curved spoke wheel has less offset.

But I can't tell you if it'll fit your car. I don't know too much about the wheel

Keep in mind that the Rotora calipers needs less clearance than the Supra caliper, so it might be worthwhile to get the Rotora if you know you're going to need that extra few mm.
