2-pc Racingbrake oem sport rotors

Hey,
The dba ones you mentioned don't look like you need a BBK for them...I know that you don't need a BBK for these Racingbrake 2-pc rotors; they are OEM direct replacements.

I was going to go with Brembos again but came across these and now I'm thinking of trying these out. The shipping weight of the Brembo cross drilled OR slotted rotors (front pair) is 35lbs = 17.5lbs/rotor. These lightweight 2-pc Racingbrake slotted rotors are 14.9lbs/rotor! Can a savings of 2.6lbs of unsprung weight on each corner really help with performance (both braking and acceleration)?

Revised...$286 for the pair of front slotted. I can't believe no one used or ever heard of these. I mean come on, all you guys that don't have BBK's why would you opt for a Rotora, Brembo or iRotor drilled/slotted/blanks when you can have something do the exact same thing but weighing less (less unsprung weight)! Is there something that I should know about the QUALITY of these Racingbrake rotors? or is it just that many here haven't had experience with them?

Oh crap! I'll probably still get them anyway. What type of pad would you suggest for these rotors? I know the better stopping performance pads are more "aggressive" on the rotors and wind up wearing them down for life of just 1 pad; I don't want that especially if I'm going to buy expensive rotors like these. Please suggest something that can provide me good stopping power and not be too harsh on my rotors. I've used Axxis Metal Masters before and they were OK but I think they ate my rotors up too.

I have these 2 piece rotors. So far I've no problems with them
Not only are they unsprung weight, they are rotational weight savings so there's even more of a multiplied effect then lightweight calipers which don't rotate/move with the wheel.
You may not feel the "seat-of-the-pants" effect but rest assured there is a significant difference.
