weird clicking sound coming from back maybe brakes
i have a weird sound coming , as if somthing is lose from the rear wheels/brakes only happens when i go over uneven roads/brick roads or bumps you cant really hear anything in the car with windows up, but windows down its really obvious and getting worse everyday..it stops when i hit the brakes and go over uneven roads so i am guessing its the brakes? i have my brakes done maybe 6 months ago, changed to brembo, rotors and ebc pads...i will take my car maybe tomm to get it checked out suggestions?

i got that same sound [ i think ] it's just my brake pads movin' around that causes the clicking is what they told me after i took it in for inspection, it's probably nothing big, but take it in anyways, should be free inspections, right?

I also had this problem. Pulled both my rear wheels off to compare. The drivers side was missing the Anti-rattle clip completely. You do not need to pull the calipers off. If the clips are in place try bending them so they hold more pressure against the pad. If they are missing order "Anti-squeal clips" from a lexus/toyota dealer. This solved my problem 100%. No more annoying rattles when going over bumps.

My friends,
those of you experiencing these rattles and such have your brake pads moving around in the calipers.
its amazing how little movements by these pads at the rear create some amplifier clunk/rattle which makes you wonder if something else is wrong.
Go to the dealer and ask for a "shim kit" and "fitting kit" and your problems are solved. they were out and loosen up after many years, especially when brakes are changed.
i was a victim of these sounds both in front and rear when i upgraded my pads. here is a link to my thread. read up and you will see.
