Unhappy Help..Camber Problems...

guys, i know you have been asked this question over and over again. I NEED HELP FIND A CAMBER KIT FOR MY 2GEN GS. Is there anyone who makes them? I just got back from Just Tires and had to buy 2 tires and it cost my dearly. My rear was so warn on the inside. I know that is somewhat the toe and not the camber. I just would like to buy a pair asap...

not to threadjack but, how much do you have to lower your car to experience severe camber effects?

I dropped my front about 1.75" (-1.3 degree camber) and the rear 1.5" (-2.1 degree camber)

I am running the L-tuned springs right now. Its the standard drop. My rear rims are 265/35R18. They are eaten up fast. I got an alignment done every time i get my tires install by my mechanic.

How many miles does your tires last? L-tuned is not an agressive drop...

Something is wrong. I have the L-tuned drop and my tires virtually look the same since I dropped the car months and months ago..

Do you happen to have the alignment spec?

Post your alignment sheet... That might give us a better understanding as most of these people have L-tuned springs on stock shocks and they don't have as much problem as you do...

I'll try and find my alignment specs. I can always keep it reprinted. From what I remember is that it was almost as close to spec. uhmm I believe it was .3 off or something like that.

i think anytime you lower a car, the camber will be off from spec, right? about severe camber issues, my guess would be any lower than a conservative 1.5" just a guess though. i've got espelirs, not installed yet, but my friend has espelirs and he's cambered in the rear. just my $0.02

I have mine dropped on CS, 20's with about a 1/2 finger gap. When I was at the shop today I noticed a bit of inside wear on the fronts, not too bad, but they are not wearing perfectly even. Should probably take about 25% of the life out of the tire... but dont know for sure. The rears are wearing really evenly even though they actually look like they are riding off camber.

The stocks that were on the car when I bought it at normal height were so worn on the front inside they were showing threads but were basically brand new on the outside.

Finally some folks to talk to about this. I have NF-210's with stock 18's. My stock Advans started howling post-drop after about 5k miles, and now my new GSD3's are howling like a pack of wolves after about 5k miles. The tech at Lexus says my camber settings were "barely within spec." Do you think this is accounting for my tire noise? No visible wear abnormalities.

Is a camber kit available for this car?

What are the toe settings on your alignment?

I've had -1.5 up front and -1.25 rear. The LS has been particularly nice on tires and these BFG KDW-2's have 24K miles on them. The inners are wearing now and the measurable difference from edge to inner is about .06" or 1/16".

wow guys... I have been running much much more aggressive camber than any of ya, and for a long time as well, and not nearly as much problems as you guys... (I did my own alignment on our Hunter machine here at work)

fronts are at -2.0 degrees, and rears are at -2.6 degrees camber...

no visible camber wear issues after 8 months like that, and 8 months prior without quite as aggressive, but still -1.5 front, -1.75 rear...

here's a pic that shows wear pretty well:
