Do you have to remove sways to take off coilovers?
Here are my dilema's
I have a coilover that is leaking. JIC MAGIC FLT 2A. 3 years old
JIC says I can send it to them and they will rebuild.
Turn around time is like two weeks.
They suggest doing all of them
I have some stock shocks and springs that I can install while the coilovers are being rebuilt
In the mean time wifey had her Daizen Rear Sway Bar break, looks like metal fatigue to me. Again 3 years old. The problem is she went to Lexus dealer who put on a stock rear sway. Now she does not think the car is handling right. That makes sense to me.
God this is too complicated. If you are still reading I'm sorry it is so long.
I've been wanting to try out the TRD Sway Bars and I could use this as the chance to do it. I get the TRD's put on my car and take the Daizen Rear Sway from mine and put it on hers. One problem solved. I might add I emailed Daizen and told them the problem and have not heard back.
So since I am going to change sways on my car would it be better to wait till coilovers are fixed or go ahead and put them on when I have the coilovers removed.
The switching out sway bars is going to happen. Just not sure at what point I should have them put on.
Any opinions good or bad would be appreciated.

You need to detach the sways from the end links to replace the struts, but you do not need to remove them.

If you looked in my thread "End link bent in half....lol what a piece"
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=239670
I have a picture in there of where the sway connects to the end link. Unbolt it as shown in the picture and you will be good to go
Well, besides the bent endlink that is
