Default Rotor questions

My '99 GS400 that I have had for the last year has 70K miles. I am replacing the rear brake pads this morning with Akebono Pro Act ceramic pads. I have no idea if the rotors have been turned/machined before or not. At what point does it make sense to replace them and what kind do you recommend. I am content with the braking on my GS (I rarely brake hard....only in extreme emergency) and could care less about how they look. I just want to get the longest lasting rotors for the best money without compromising any safety.

Thanks for your input.

From a Brake moron.

I would recommend the Brembo blanks. I think Sewell has them for a very reasonable price and you can be confident with Brembo quality.
