How do Iknow when I have a real L-Tuned steering ECU and not a factory one. I was given an ECU and told that it was, one but by looking at it looks totally normal. Even has a Toyota number on it 89650-50020. There is no other markings on it that I see. Any help would be greaatly appreciated. Thanks Greg....
I purchased one as well. I did not feel that much of a difference. But my car had over 110,000 miles at the time. 99 GS3 with l-tuned suspension with 18's.....

I hear your pain. Mine is also 99 GS3. I changed steering ECU twice, first time when I was on stock 16"s with 60K miles on stock suspension - didn't feel any difference, so I sold the ECU. Then my friend happened to have one l-tuned ECU that he didn't need and gave me for free. I put it again now, with 92K miles on 18"s and KYB (l-tuned) shocks, and still don't feel any difference. To me it was just a worthless upgrade.
