Nova I've had my springs on for about two months, no noises, no rubbing, no lights. It all has to do with how they are installed, it took two mechanics 1 1/2 hours to do, i.e. putting back everything the way it came out.

I'll just mention in case no one reads the instructions:
1) Install the springs with the "Eibach" logo right side up. All original stock spring isolators, dampers and tubing should be retained from stock springs and used when installing the Pro Kit Springs.
2) It also mentions that all bushing related pivot points be re-torqued with the full weight of the vehicle on the suspension, this is done to prevent "bushing pre-load". If this is not done, bushing damage and un-even lowering may result.
3) Also 10mm has to be trimmed off the top of the front and rear bump stops

Hope this helps.

You would be amazed how many techs overlook resetting the bushings (#2 on your list) after lowering. It's in every single Toyota manual I've checked, but I've asked and asked and got blank stares so many times it isn't funny. It really does make a big difference, and I always do it even though it's a PITA.

It's been raining so I haven't got to it yet.. Hopefully I get it done soon... Also, how would you reach the sensor with it being at it's normal ride height?

Ramps or a pit are the easiest answers. When I reset bushings I use a floor jack on the corner I want to reset and raise the suspension until the car starts to lift on the jackstands. It's not perfect, but it's pretty close.

Hmmm, I think I need to "reset" my bushings. Even though I don't have my AFS light blinking..

Good idea Lubux, the rears are the most important ones on the IS350 because they have to remove the lower control arm to take out the shock/spring.

Hey did anyone ever find the sweet spot on where to set these or is it something you just have to keep messing with? I read this thread and also this thread right here
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...&highlight=afs
I want to get it back into range, but more importantly I want it to be set back like it was from the factory. Obviously my front is now 1" lower and back is .8" lower. Should i move the front bolt all the way to the bottom and the rear one almost to the bottom?

thanks

Just get it to look like this. Still haven't gotten to it yet, but it doesn't seem like a hard fix.
