Default Tein CS reminder.

Guys it happen again, not long ago my rear left tein cs suspenion fall out of place. I am talking about the bolt that goes around the the damper switch. Anyways last sunday my front passenger side did it too, so all i had to do was screw the bolts back on easy fix it was. So from my experience so far, all i need to do is retorque all the suspenion bolts about every 5 to 4 months depending how often i drive her. Hope this will help so this does not happen to my CL boys. One last thing, if it does happen to anyone that has the CS it's going to sound like a loud clunking sound when you are even goin over very small pumps so don't be to shocked, just stop the car, and retighten the bolt.

What about using some Red Locktite or something similar? I wonder if those nylon lock nuts would work?

That i need to call tein about, but i just tighten enough to where it's tight if that makes any sense.

There should be some torque specs in the manual. I am wondering if this is a common problem. I havent had this happen to me yet and I have had my Teins on for 2 years

Same here. No issues yet. For people with issues, was LocTite used? If I remember right, the setup comes with some.

torque is like 20 lbs. I've tightened mine a little once already. the trick is to use one wrench to hold the shaft in place and another to tighten nut. you can't use a torque wrench on it. I did use the torque wrench on the strut mount bolts and some of them turned a little too.

Question

Newbie question: What are the locations of these suspension bolts? Pics would help a lot.

I have some strange noise and wonder if I need to tighten something.

hold the shaft in place on top with a 10mm while you tighten center bolt with a 17mm
