H&R Spacer GS/IS/LS/SC 15mm
30656014MSRP: $119.95Our price: $113.95

Bolt Pattern: 5/114.3, Center Bore: 60.1, Bolt/Stud Type: Stud, Thread Type: 12x1.5, Spacer Type: DRS, Width: 15mm

I just went on Optionimports site and the spacers come with new studs.... Can i just slap a 15mm spacer on the existing hub? It seems like to much of a hassle to do this the other way... I'm just confused with this huge ordeal... thanks

Do I understand this correctly.

All spacers smaller than 15mm can be used with factory lugs (plug and play)
15mm and 20mm spacer require replacement of factory lugs with lengthened lugs in factory location (most work)
25mm spacer comes with lugs attached and the spacer bolts on the car using the factory lugs then the wheel bolts to spacer's lugs.

Just trying to work this out in my head.

So i guess the adapter has the built in studs... Is that what i need? and all i do is take out the factory hub and studs and replace with new ones? Is that right? Also, does it have to be hubcentic? I know lot of questions but i went on H&R website and the studs look like they came seperately... is there a company that makes a adapter with the studs already molded on so to speak? I know this is lots of questions but i'm still confused

Im also looking for spacers for my rear wheels, i need the 15 mm ones.......Unfortunately H&R only makes the 25mm spacers that come with the studs attached. For all the other sizes u have to go through the hassle of replacing the stock studs with longers ones.

I found these 15mm spacers that have the studs attached, but not too sure regarding the quality of the company that make them here is the link http://www.optionimports.com/kiprwhsp.html

Anyone have any info regarding these spacers and how they compare to H&R as far as quality?

I've posted this many times already, here goes again.

You can safely run up to around a 5mm spacer, anything more and you won't be able to index the wheel on the hub, and you also won't have enough threads left. With a 5mm, you generally don't need longer studs, but they just make it much nicer if you do have them.

Anything around 10 is not really going to work, as it can't index on the hub and have a new center bore hub sticking out to center the wheel. You need to get to around 15mm, which has its own hub sticking out so the wheel can sit correctly.

25mm is a bolt-on spacer, which self-explanatorily bolts on, and then has its own studs which behave again as if you were bolting onto the original studs.

Those won't work, unless you hog out the back of your wheels to clear the nuts. If you are looking to do this, you might as well just change the studs.

So what does H&R make in a 15mm spacer.... Are the studs already attached. OR do they come unattached? that is the question... If the 15mm already has studs on it isn't it easier to just take the stock one off and put on this one?

Whats the easiest way to go on this

Thanks

Tony

15 comes with new longer studs

Like I said above, you really can't have a 15 with attached studs - too many other problems with back of wheel clearance.

These are in stock, we have plenty, let me know if you need a pair or two.
