I've installed 10mm spacers for the front without replacing the studs. For proper and easy alignment, I glued the spacer to the back of the wheel, and I used new lug nuts with longer shaft. Just make sure the spacers you get have large enough holes for the lug nut shaft diameter.

i was thinking 10mm might work, i do have aftermarket lug nuts that is longer than oem. i will give it a try to see how tight it is before replacing the studs. Thanks for the help.

To be safe, I’d do a dry-fit with the spacer stacked against the wheel, and insert a lug nut to see how far in it gets. Ideally, the lug nut should reach within ¼” to the surface (see picture). The stock studs are about 1” long and you’d want to get about ¾” of it into the lug nut.
I think OP is asking only about spacers without attached studs.
I was a believer with spacers for years. Always had project Kics spacers until one failed on me with a stud breaking off.
