I pay about 225.00 for my car is so low I can't get it up any ramp plus I go to a custom old school shop where they do it with no computer machines its by hand and do weight distribution aswell. Weber has been around since the 1950's. I used to pay about 70 at most any shop that has that new machine but man when they put those plates on your wheels i always got little nips in the wheel, i used to complain and they still did it saying that they couldn't do anything about since it was a big rim small tire.

I'll second joshoowa on Firestone's lifetime deal. Might be $150, but it's a great deal that pays for itself quickly whether it's $100 or $200. Not to mention, quarterly or twice a year alignments prolong the life of the tire.

wow...no machine?....that is old school...i would definitely like to know how they do this?....i know they probably have some special hand tools ....when working on aircraft they have special tools to set the propeller blade angles on adjustable props. Hmm...would like to see this done.

I used to have my Vette aligned and balanced by hand.

They use a device to speed up the tire to insane speed and the guy uses his hand and eye to find the vibration and apply weight... best balance I could get in that car.

Alignment was done with a long pole and eye... that is all I could see at least.
